Introduction of Daihan Lidocaine HCL Hydrate Inj. 2% (20ml)

Composition:

• Each 1 mL contains 21.330 mg of Lidocaine HCl.

Indications:

1. Anesthesia
   • Includes epidural, infiltration, surface anesthesia, or nerve block.
2. Internal Medical Use
   • Specifically for ventricular arrhythmia.

Dosage & Administration:

• Adjust dosage based on patient response and site of administration.
• Use the minimum effective concentration and dose.
• Dosage varies based on the area, tissue vascularity, neuronal segments, tolerance, and technique.
• Administer the minimum dose required for anesthesia.

Adult Dosage:

• Maximum dose for healthy adults: 200 mg

1. Epidural: 40 ~ 200 mg
2. Nerve Block: 30 ~ 200 mg, 60 ~ 120 mg for support nerve block
3. Infiltration: 40 ~ 200 mg
4. Surface: Apply a moderate amount to the affected part.

Dosage should be adjusted based on age, anesthesia areas, tissue, symptoms, constitution, or overall health conditions.

Single Intravenous Administration (Adult):

• 50 ~ 100 mg (1 ~ 2 mg/kg) slowly over 1 ~ 2 minutes, max 300 mg in 1 hour.
• Repeat dosing if needed at 10 ~ 20-minute intervals.

I.V. Instillation Administration:

• Use under constant ECG monitoring.
• Administer at a rate of 1 ~ 2 mg per minute, max rate 4 mg per minute.

Storage:

• Store in a hermetic container at temperatures not exceeding 30°C.
