Juvéderm Ultra 4

Juvéderm Ultra 4 is a hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler designed to fill in skin depressions and minimize facial wrinkles, particularly around the lips and nose. In the United States, it is known as Juvederm Ultra Plus XC.

This filler is the only hyaluronic acid product approved by the FDA for treating moderate to severe wrinkles and folds, providing results that can last up to 12 months. Manufactured in Haute Savoie, it utilizes Allergan Laboratories’ HYLACROSS® and 3D Matrix technology for a soft and comfortable treatment experience. Juvéderm Ultra 4 is part of the Juvéderm Ultra line, which offers various gels for addressing signs of aging.

Characteristics of Juvéderm Ultra 4 Gel

Juvéderm Ultra 4 gel effectively restores volume in areas like the chin and cheekbones, helping to smooth wrinkles and enhance lip contours. It is also effective for deep nasolabial folds. The gel has a non-granular, smooth, and natural texture, ensuring even and rapid distribution in the skin. To enhance comfort during the procedure, it contains lidocaine, a naturally occurring anesthetic.

Composition:

• Hyaluronic acid gel: 24 mg/ml (24% concentration)
• Lidocaine hydrochloride: 3 mg/ml (0.3% Lidocaine)
• Phosphate buffer pH 7.2 q.s.p. 1 ml
• Supplied with 4 needles (27G 1/2) and two pre-filled 1ml syringes

Contraindications: This product should not be used by minors, pregnant or nursing women, or individuals with a history of skin inflammation or allergies. Avoid use on infected or inflamed skin areas, as well as areas with permanent fillers. Additionally, do not use Juvéderm Ultra following laser treatment, chemical peeling, or dermabrasion, or if a significant inflammatory reaction occurs after superficial peeling. Individuals with hyaluronic acid hypersensitivity, autoimmune conditions, or chronic streptococcal infections should also refrain from using this product.
