Hymovis

This sterile, pyrogen-free hydrogel is formulated with Hyadd4 (highly purified sodium hyaluronate-hexadecylamide derived from bacterial fermentation) in a buffered isotonic solution.

Indications: Hymovis is indicated for treating joint pain associated with osteoarthritis and enhancing joint mobility by increasing the viscoelasticity of synovial fluid.

Sterilization and Administration:

• Sterilized using steam and EtO.
• Intended exclusively for intra-articular injection.
• Must be administered only by a physician.
• The syringe’s external sterility allows for intra-articular injections even in an operating room setting.
• A treatment course involves two injections given one week apart.
• Due to its viscosity, inject slowly into the joint with a suitable sterile needle (18 or 20 G).
• All aseptic administration techniques must be strictly followed.
• Remove any effusion present in the joint before administration.

Composition:

• Main Components: Hyadd4 (sodium hyaluronate-hexadecylamide), 24 mg/3 ml.
• Other Components: Sodium chloride, disodium hydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, water for injections.

Packaging: Packaged in 2 pre-filled Luer-Lock syringes.
