What is y-PGA?

poly-y-glutamic acid(y-PGA) is a natural, high molecular, linear-polypeptide which mainly produced from microbes, such as Bacillus.

The cross-linking of y-PGA:

Hydrogels of y-PGA can be prepared by chemical (PEG, polysaccharide etc.) and physical(UV, gamma irradiation and electron beam etc.) cross-linking process.
