Its mechanism of action involves botulinum toxin type A’s ability to block nerve impulse transmission. When injected intramuscularly, it inhibits the production of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter essential for neuromuscular communication, causing temporary paralysis of facial muscles. This paralysis facilitates muscle relaxation and wrinkle reduction.

MODE OF ACTION:
