With a 32% acid complex in a 30 ml bottle, the Anti Acne Exfoliating Face Serum is a strong exfoliating serum for oily, congested and breakout-prone skin. The blend combines 30% AHA, also called fruit acid, with 2% salicylic acid, and adds a Tasmanian pepperberry derivative to temper acid-related irritation.

Formulation

  • AHA (fruit acid), 30% – weakens the bonds holding dead surface cells together so they shed more readily, for smoother-feeling skin and a more even look
  • Salicylic acid (BHA), 2% – an oil-soluble acid that travels into the pores to loosen what has built up inside them
  • Tasmanian pepperberry derivative – a botanical ingredient chosen to keep the strong acids more comfortable on the skin

Pairing a high level of fruit acids with an oil-soluble BHA means the formula addresses both the build-up of dead cells on the surface and the oil that collects inside the pores.
