Carat Body

Supplied as a single-use 10 ml pack, Carat Body (also listed as CaratBody 10 ml) is a body filler made from patented microbeads of cross-linked hyaluronic acid. It is intended for body contouring and for volume in the breasts and buttocks, and the hyaluronic acid used in it is sourced from microorganisms.

Formulation

The gel relies on a patented microbead technology (MCLβ„’) built up in three phases. The result is a semi-solid gel that is highly viscous and cohesive, so it keeps its integrity once placed. The particles are concentrated and larger in size, which the manufacturer links to the gel's durability. It is also strongly hydrophilic: it binds water and keeps a stable molecular structure after cross-linking, supporting volume and hydration in the area.
