Cellfish Pore Minimizing Toner Pad comes as a jar of 60 pads steeped in 130 ml of wipe-off lotion. Sold in Korea as the OFBASE Celfish Pore Minimizing Toner Pad, it merges two steps – pore care and hydration – into a single sheet that clients can reach for straight after cleansing.

Texture and finish

Every pad is double-sided. One face is embossed and gives a little grip for lifting surplus sebum and loose dead cells from the surface; the reverse is smooth and is used to even out the feel of the skin before the remaining lotion is patted in. That makes it a practical choice for skin where shine from active oil glands and visible pores are a daily concern.

What is inside

The lotion is water-based with methylpropanediol, DPG, glycerin and BG. Its botanical complex brings together evening primrose flower, Ulmus davidiana root, rhubarb leaf, kudzu root, Enantia chlorantha bark, red clover and tea tree, along with tea tree leaf oil. For moisture there is sodium hyaluronate plus hydrolysed hyaluronic acid and sodium acetyl hyaluronate, and the list also includes panthenol, madecassoside, oleanolic acid, carbonated water and a Bifidobacteria culture lysate. It is manufactured in South Korea by Korea Colmar Co., Ltd.

Using it at home

  1. On freshly cleansed skin, sweep the embossed side across the face, following the direction of the skin and keeping clear of the eyes and lips.
  2. Flip the pad over and glide the smooth side across the same areas.
  3. Press the face lightly with the palms so any leftover lotion soaks in.

Handling and storage

Snap the lid firmly shut every time so the pads stay moist. Store the jar away from direct sun and from very hot or very cold places, and keep it where children cannot reach it. Do not wipe over broken, inflamed or eczema-affected skin; stop using it if redness, swelling or itching appears, and rinse with cool or lukewarm water if lotion gets into the eyes. Clients with different skin types may prefer to begin every other day.
