Celosome Aqua

Supplied in a single 2.5 ml pre-filled syringe, Celosome Aqua is a biorevitalising gel that combines 24 mg/ml of non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid with 9 mg/ml of mannitol. It is placed in the superficial dermis and is described as a fibroblast activator, used for hydration, elasticity and firmness.

Formulation

  • Hyaluronic acid: 24 mg/ml, non-cross-linked and of non-animal origin, purified to resemble the structure of the body's own hyaluronic acid
  • Mannitol: 9 mg/ml
  • Sterilisation: hot steam

Mannitol is an antioxidant here. It helps slow the breakdown of hyaluronic acid, keeps the gel physically and chemically stable during long storage and at higher temperatures, and is included to limit inflammation at the injection point. The aim of the formula is to support the activity of dermal fibroblasts, the cells that produce collagen and elastin.

Purity of the gel

Celosome products pass through an 8-phase filtration process followed by deionisation. This removes BDDE residues and metal ions and keeps impurities and endotoxins low, giving an evenly distributed gel.
