Finetox


Finetox is a lyophilized substance, white or slightly yellow, stored in a clear, colorless vial. When mixed with normal saline, it becomes a transparent solution.

Indication:

It is used for the temporary improvement of moderate to severe glabellar wrinkles caused by the corrugator and/or procerus muscles in adults aged 19 to 65.

Storage Caution:

Unopened vials should be kept refrigerated at 28ā„ƒ. Once dissolved, the product can be stored in the refrigerator (28ā„ƒ) for up to 24 hours.

Identification:

Botulinum Toxin "FINETOX 100U":
  • The SDC-PAGE patterns of the botulinum toxin protein align with the standard.
  • The purity of Finetox is 99.6%, as determined by SEL-HPLC.
Efficacy Study 1:

Electromyography in rats shows that Finetox inhibits neuronal electrical signal transduction similarly to Brand A.
  • To compare Finetox with Brand A, electromyography was performed after injecting 6.0 U of Botulinum Toxin into the lateral gastrocnemius muscle of the right leg of a rat at 0, 4, 8, 12, and 24 weeks.
Efficacy Study 2:

MRI assessments of muscle volume in rats indicate that Finetox reduces muscle volume similarly to Brand A.
  • MRI scans of the lateral gastrocnemius muscle of the right leg, whole leg muscle, and calf were taken before and 4, 8, 12, and 24 weeks after injection.
