Sold as the Merikit Aqua Moisture product, this Hand Mask is a glove-style sheet soaked in essence and made for dry skin on the hands. A pack contains five pieces of 16 g each, so it suits a short weekly ritual or a supply for the bathroom cabinet.

What is inside

The essence brings together a handful of familiar skincare ingredients, each with its own role:

  • Shea butter – a rich emollient that adds moisture and leaves skin feeling soft.
  • Cherry blossom extract – included to help reinforce the protective outer layer of the skin.
  • Sweet cherry extract, together with centella asiatica – calming and conditioning botanicals.
  • Hydrolysed collagen – helps the skin hold on to moisture.

Together they work in the same way as other moisturisers: they add water and lipids to the outer layers of the skin and help keep them there.

Using it at home

  1. Slip each hand into an essence-soaked glove.
  2. Relax for 20 to 30 minutes while the essence soaks in.
  3. Take the gloves off and press any essence left on your hands gently into the skin until it has absorbed.
