Miratox Botulinum Toxin Type A (100 Units and 200 Units)

Miratox (Miracle and Tox) is a Clostridium botulinum toxin type A injectable used to temporarily improve the appearance of dynamic wrinkles caused by excessive muscle activity, including glabellar (frown) lines, crow's feet, and forehead lines. Its high-purity concentrate and gentle vacuum drying process help preserve effectiveness for consistent, reliable results.

Indications

Temporary improvement of moderate to severe glabellar lines resulting from corrugator and/or procerus muscle activity in adults aged 19 to 65. Also used to correct crow's feet and forehead lines.

Dosage Form

A white or light yellow dried substance in a clear, colourless vial. When reconstituted with saline, the solution becomes clear and colourless.

Reconstitution

Step 1: Remove the vial cap and sanitize the stopper with a disinfectant
Step 2: Attach a sterile needle to a syringe, draw 2.5 mL of saline solution, and inject it into the vial
Step 3: Gently swirl the vial for less than one minute
Step 4: Draw up the clear reconstituted solution using a syringe with a 30 gauge sterile needle

Recommended Treatment Guide

Forehead: 20 units in total (4 units at each of 5 injection sites)
Glabellar lines: 20 units in total (4 units at each of 5 injection sites between the eyebrows)
Crow's feet: 24 units in total (4 units at each of 3 injection sites around each eye)

Before Treatment

Patients should inform their practitioner of any existing illnesses, medications, surgeries, pregnancy or breastfeeding, previous complications with botulinum toxin or other injections, inflammation at the injection site, or any difficulty swallowing. Aspirin and anti-inflammatory medications should be avoided before treatment to reduce the risk of bruising.

After Treatment

Avoid rubbing or massaging the treated area for 24 hours
Gently cleanse the face that evening without rubbing
Avoid makeup for at least 4 hours
Avoid physical activity and saunas on the day of treatment
