PDX 2 Skin Booster Whitening

PDX 2 Skin Booster Whitening is the brightening member of the D’LEXO PDX range, made in the Republic of Korea and supplied as five 5 ml vials. It is an ampoule-style booster that layers glutathione, sodium hyaluronate and a vitamin-peptide blend over an exosome and PDRN base for tone, moisture and firmness-focused routines.

What is inside

  • CICA-EXO – exosomes obtained from Centella asiatica through a patented process.
  • Vitamin-peptide blend – proprietary to D’LEXO and added with skin tone in mind.
  • PDRN – obtained from salmon sperm DNA.
  • Glutathione – the tripeptide commonly associated with brightening formulas; see glutathione for background.
  • Sodium hyaluronate – adds hydration.

Two ways to work with it

At home, topically. After toner, the vial is opened and the contents smoothed over face and neck and left to sink in, then sealed with a cream. This can form part of a daily routine.

In clinic, with needling. Following toner, the practitioner opens a vial and works it in using a dermapen or MTS roller, either on chosen zones or across the face, neck and décolleté. Our overview of microneedling in mesotherapy explains the technique in more depth.

Practitioner guidance

The suggested rhythm is a course of no more than 10 sessions spaced 2–3 weeks apart, adjusted to the skin. Redness on the day is possible and downtime is short. Clients are advised to skip makeup and strenuous exercise straight after a session.
