Common Uses

Commonly used before filler injections, mole removals, laser treatments, thread procedures, tattooing and urological treatments. It is suited to dermatology, aesthetic, surgical, urology and tattoo settings. Lidocaine works by stopping nerves from sending pain signals to the brain, and the numbing effect typically starts within 30 to 45 minutes after application.

Dosage and Administration

For adults, apply 0.25 to 0.66g (26.4 to 69.7mg as lidocaine) to the application site 5 to 15 minutes before the procedure. Do not exceed 1.74g (184mg as lidocaine) in 24 hours. Avoid applying multiple layers to the same area. For external use only.

Storage and Handling

Store in an airtight, shaded container at room temperature (1 to 30Β°C). Keep out of children's reach. Do not throw in fire after use.

Precautions

Do not use on patients with hypersensitivity to this drug or other anesthetic components, on wounds or infected areas, or on pregnant women. Use with care in patients with liver or kidney disease. Avoid application on the eyes and nose. Stop use and consult a doctor if signs of irritation appear, and do not exceed three months of application without a doctor's supervision. Itching and tingling are the most common side effects.
