Saypha

Saypha comes from Croma in Vienna, Austria, and makes a family of HA gel implants: each is monophasic and cross-linked, and none uses animal-derived hyaluronic acid. Lushfills offers the range in several formulations, each supplied as a single 1 ml syringe, covering nasolabial folds, lips and midface volume.

Formulation

Saypha Filler (with or without lidocaine): high molecular weight HA at a concentration of 23 mg per ml, cross-linked with BDDE, with residual BDDE of no more than 2 ppm. The HA is produced by Streptococcus equi bacteria. Phosphate buffer and sodium chloride complete the gel, and the lidocaine form includes 0.3% lidocaine.

Saypha Volume Plus Lidocaine: a slightly denser gel at 25 mg per ml, again non-animal, also carrying 0.3% lidocaine.

Saypha Volume (plain or with lidocaine): the maker gives an HA content of 23 mg per ml.

Pack contents

Saypha Filler and Volume Plus boxes each hold one 1 ml syringe with two thin-walled ½" needles in 27G, the needle gauge used across these packs. Saypha sits within our European range of HA gels.
