Made by Maypharm, Sedy Fill 10ml is a body filler for volumetric soft tissue augmentation. The 10 ml presentation contains a transparent, viscous gel of 100% cross-linked, non-animal hyaluronic acid, produced using the manufacturer's HENM cross-linking technology.

Formulation

The HA in Sedy Fill is biotechnologically derived, purified and stabilised before cross-linking. Maypharm highlights three properties of the resulting gel:

  • Viscosity and cohesiveness – the gel is thick and holds together, which keeps it stable.
  • Hardness – firm enough to give the injector control during placement and to stay steady afterwards.
  • Formability – it can be moulded and shaped once it has been placed.

The gel is designed to hold its form and remain where it is placed instead of migrating into nearby tissue. It is biocompatible and is gradually broken down by the body, so treatment can be repeated later if the practitioner and client choose.
