Sheet Mask - Brightening, also sold as the Merikit Brightening Sheet Mask, is a single 25 g hydrating sheet for dull, unevenly toned complexions and visible pigmentation. The essence pairs tone-focused actives, among them vitamin C, arbutin and niacinamide, with a hydrating base of allantoin, hyaluronic acid and aloe leaf extract.

  • Niacinamide – used so the complexion appears more uniform.
  • Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) – included to target the look of pigmentation.
  • Mulberry root extract – used for a brighter-looking tone.
  • Aloe vera juice – from the aloe plant, soothing and hydrating.
  • Centella asiatica extract – a calming botanical that also hydrates.
  • Green tea extract – strengthens barrier function.
  • Further ingredients: lemon extract and arbutin, plus the allantoin and hyaluronic acid base.

All skin types can use it. Its main focus is a patchy or uneven tone, areas of visible pigmentation, and the pigment marks that blemishes can leave behind.

Using it at home

  1. Cleanse, then prepare the face with toner.
  2. Smooth the sheet evenly into place.
  3. Leave it for 10 to 20 minutes.
  4. Lift it off and tap the remaining essence in until absorbed.

Toner beforehand helps the sheet sit flat against the face, and a longer wear time within the stated range simply gives the essence more contact with the skin.
