Sonocare

Sonocare is a compact nano-ultrasound unit for professional skin sessions on both the face and body. Rather than relying on a single frequency, it combines heat and cavitation across several frequencies, and its slim probe is shaped to reach narrow and curved contours that larger heads struggle with.

What the technology does

  • Nano-ultrasound at 10 MHz – very small vibrations warm the epidermis and dermis to 45–48 °C without harming the skin surface.
  • Multi-Wave Technology – switches back and forth between two frequencies so that energy travels further into the tissue.
  • 1 MHz with 3 MHz – produces cavitation about 30 mm beneath the surface; this is used for sonophoresis, helping topical products pass into the skin.
  • 3 MHz with 10 MHz – warms tissue to 47 °C at around 3 mm deep, a setting used to stimulate collagen and elastin.

Where it is used

On the face, Sonocare is used for tightening and for softening the look of fine lines, for hydration, for better uptake of skincare products, and for the look of redness and marks left after breakouts. On the body it is used in contouring work and for the appearance of stretch marks and cellulite.

Clinical setting

Each session runs for 6–18 minutes. The device is also designed to work alongside other equipment a clinic already uses, for example to support topical serums. Its small footprint means it fits treatment rooms of any size.
