Device overview

The ultrasound energy is concentrated at a fixed depth. At that focal point the tissue reaches roughly 60–70 Β°C, forming small points of thermal coagulation, while the layers lying between the surface and the focus are left untouched. Output consistency is verified with a JIG test using a phantom model, and the transducer face uses a non-toxic contact film (membrane).
