Even long-wear and heavy makeup lifts away with Stayve Mild Cleansing Milk (Eve Vegan) 1X290ml, a soft cleansing lotion designed to leave the face feeling comfortable rather than stripped. It is the first step of the Stayve clinic protocol, ahead of toning, exfoliation and microneedling.

What is inside

Four botanicals lead the formula:

  • Kelp, listed as Laminaria japonica extract
  • Japanese cherry blossom (Prunus serrulata) flower extract, which supplies vitamins A, B and E
  • Fig (Ficus carica) fruit extract
  • Centella asiatica

Behind these sit water and isopropyl myristate as the base, an extract of Eclipta prostrata leaf, and moisturising agents including ceramide NP, glycerin and hydrolysed hyaluronic acid.

Vegan credentials

The cleanser holds French EVE Vegan certification, a label granted only after evaluation confirms a product contains no animal-derived ingredients. The brand also states that every component apart from the fragrance carries an EWG green rating.

Using it at home

  1. Pump one or two measures into the palm.
  2. Spread over a dry face and work it in with small rolling movements for about 30 seconds.
  3. Take it off with a damp sponge or rinse away with water.
