Syringe Mixing Tube

When two preparations need to be combined at the chair, the Syringe Mixing Tube gives practitioners a closed connection between a pair of syringes so the contents can be passed from one barrel to the other without spilling. It is a sterile connector meant for one use only, intended for product preparation in aesthetic clinics.

Where it is used

The connector is chosen when a practitioner needs to blend or move product between syringes before an injection. Typical examples given by the manufacturer include skin boosters based on PDRN, collagen or PCL, as well as fillers and botulinum toxin preparations. It can also split the contents of one large syringe into several smaller ones, which is useful when a single preparation will be shared across smaller-volume syringes.

Preparing the product

  1. Inspect the pouch: it should be sealed and undamaged, and the expiry date should not have passed.
  2. Put on sterile disposable gloves before opening.
  3. Take the tube out of its sterile wrapping.
  4. Attach one end to the first syringe holding solution, then attach the other end to the second syringe.
  5. Work the plungers alternately back and forth until the two contents are combined.
  6. Dispose of the tube once the transfer is finished.

Variants offered

Can a tube be cleaned and used again? No. It is a single-use item and must not be reused or re-sterilised.

How is sterility achieved? Each unit is individually packed and sterilised with ethylene oxide.

Is the storage box included with every order? Only with the 100-piece option; smaller packs ship without it.
