Union Fill

Union Fill, also spelled Unionfill, is a cosmetic gel whose base is cross-linked hyaluronic acid, at 24 mg. It comes in three grades of firmness, so the treating practitioner can pick a gel that suits the depth of the line being corrected.

Formulation

Our own tissues already contain hyaluronic acid, a molecule that attracts and holds large amounts of water. That property is what lets a hyaluronic acid gel plump and smooth the area where it is placed. In Union Fill, the hyaluronic acid is cross-linked, a process common to most injectable fillers on the market. The gel is made to pass smoothly through the needle to keep discomfort low during the procedure.

Choosing a variant

  • Soft Solt – the softest grade, used on fine, shallow lines and very light creasing.
  • Deep Medium – a middle grade, used where wrinkles sit in softer tissue and where some extra fullness is wanted.
  • Super Hard – the firmest grade, for deep wrinkles.

Firmer grades are generally chosen as lines get deeper; softer grades are kept for delicate, superficial work.
