Voluderm

Voluderm is a three-strong range of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, each cross-linked with BDDE and matched to a different tissue depth. Fine, Deep and Sub-Q share the same 3D gel network of hyaluronan, but each comes with its own needle gauge, texture and listed facial areas.

Formulation

The gel is a three-dimensional HA matrix formed with butanediol diglycidyl ether (BDDE) as the cross-linker. The manufacturer quotes residual BDDE and endotoxin levels below 0.5 ppm, and an extrusion force under 50 N, which it attributes to controlled particle sizing. Sub-Q has the highest viscosity of the three, chosen so the gel keeps its shape in deeper contouring work.
